Company List

Over the last two weeks a number of you may have wondered about a list of companies we published on the Jesus House website and in the Sunday bulletin. This snapshot of companies in the UK shows organizations that subscribe to matched gifts.

A matching gift, also known as a matching fund or matching donation is a charitable gift made to a charity or non-profit organization by a company where it’s employees are part of raising funds for a good cause. Usually, matching gifts are equal to the amount raised by the original donor. For example, if a donor makes a gift of £100 to an organization, the matching company will also give £100, making the total gift worth £200.

One example of a company that has given in this manner to Jesus House in the past is Santander. This is another very useful way to help raise money for the church’s community projects.
