So you want to get baptised but have not accepted Jesus as your Lord And Saviour

Don’t worry. At each of our classes at The Jesus House Academy, you will be given the opportunity to accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. Besides, you don’t have to wait until then.

The Foundation / Baptismal Classes give you that opportunity. The only requirement is that you come with a heart to learn.

What do I need to do to get baptised?

First, you must be born again (John 3:3, 22- 24). Since everyone has sinned, we all are in dire need of the salvation that Christ freely offers (John 3: 16).

Why should I get baptised?

Jesus commanded it (Matthew 28:1) Jesus is our perfect role model and He said it ‘had to be done to fulfil all righteousness’. We have no excuse not to copy His example.

What is Baptism?

BAPTISM is an act of obedience to God. In the New Testament, water baptism is the complete immersion of the whole body in water as a follow on to the call of Salvation.

What does the Jesus House Workers’ Training entail?

It is a six week course and you will be required to attend twice weekly classes held at the church over this period.
