Hello team. Let's go ahead with discussions on this post from now please. This way, we can all subscribe to the posts and follow the discussion more closely.

We were on the verge of deciding which option to go for between gotomymeeting.com and skype for our online meetings. Any suggestions?

Good afternoon all,

My name is Graeme Sokari and I am a member of the Communications Team in the Church Office.

I would like to start by thanking you for volunteering to join the Jesus House web team. Please accept my apologies for the delayed communication with yourselves. Moving forward, I would like to inform you on what’s happening and highlight some specific areas on the site you can contribute to.

Like you all know, we have launched the new Jesus House website and have been live since October 2009, however, I would like for us to work together in keeping the site very interactive. I understand that we all have varied knowledge about the web, however, I would greatly appreciate whatever support and help you can offer for the web.

Some of the areas we would like assistance to start with are:

· Adding images to different section (e.g. CSR section) on the Jesus House.

· Creating Polls

· Creating New Pages for upcoming events

· Putting together creative Write-ups on upcoming events and past events

· Reviewing monthly statistics on the web and suggesting changes as a result of the review

· Creating more dynamism on the Jesus House site possibly including pictures and videos on many more pages to offer people a fuller experience.

· Creating sub sites within the Jesus House site e.g. campaign sites for Easter, Elections, Christmas etc,

· We currently have an image bank site (http://www.jhimagebank.org.uk/ which you may want to familiarize yourself with) that stores loads of images which would be useful for retrieving images for the different section.

If you are particularly interested in working on any of these areas, please do let me know. For everyone, please can you let us know your times of availability so as to help us know how we can structure our working together. Please indicate how many hours you can give per day or per week and at what times of the day.
