Agu Irukwu

Senior Pastor

A law graduate and former investment banker, Pastor Agu was ordained a pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in August 1993. He took over the role of Senior Pastor of Jesus House in April 1994, two months after the church began. In addition he is the chairman of the RCCG Executive Council in the UK and Ireland, chairman of the Festival of Life organising committee and a member of the council of the Evangelical Alliance.

Pastor Agu has a desire to see revival in the United Kingdom and help men and women of faith achieve their God-given purpose.

Sola Irukwu

As head of Church Social Responsibility, Pastor Sola oversees the church's response to practical challenges faced by members of our community, with particular emphasis on the international environment. In her time in Jesus House she has functioned in a variety of roles, including as Executive Assistant to the Senior Pastor of Jesus House and Head of Conferences & Events in Jesus House, before being ordained as a Deaconess in 2007, and as Assistant Pastor in 2009.

She holds a degree in Dental Surgery and worked as a dental surgeon's assistant prior to joining the Jesus House church office, where she has worked since 1996. She is passionate about helping the disadvantaged, the destitute and those marginalised by society, particularly children.

Shola Adeaga

Executive Pastor/
Chief Operating Officer

A Consultant Gynaecologist with 24 years of medical experience, Pastor Shola has been actively involved in the running of Jesus House since its inception. In 1996 he was ordained an Assistant Pastor and became a full pastor in August 2000. In 1997 he was appointed Church Administrator and currently holds the position of Executive Pastor at Jesus House.

As Executive Pastor, he is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the church’s strategy as well ensuring the efficient operation of its systems. He is also the Chief Executive of the Festival of Life Organising Committee and is currently on the board of Trustees for Jesus House.

Funke Adeaga

Pastor in charge: Face of the Church/Esthers

Pastor Funke is married to Pastor Shola and heads four of our member facing departments: Hospitality, Front of House, Ushering and The Brook café. As overseer of these departments, her role is to ensure that a spirit of excellence is maintained in the service provided by the four departments. She is also the pastor in charge of our women’s ministry, Esthers.

She was ordained as a Deaconess in 1998 and as an Assistant Pastor in 2005.

Vera Omonedo

Director of Church Plants

Pastor Vera has also been involved in the ministry since its inception, and is in charge of Church Plants, where she is responsible for the co-ordination of RCCG parishes birthed out of Jesus House.

She was ordained as Assistant Pastor in 1996 and officially designated Head of Missions in 2000. In August 2003 she was ordained a full pastor.

Pastor Vera also teaches at the RCCG Bible College.

Bajo Akisanya

Youth Director

Pastor Bajo was ordained an Assistant Pastor in 1995 and became a full pastor in 1999. He served as Pastor Agu’s assistant until early 1997 when he moved to Brighton, East Sussex to set up Peace Haven Christian Fellowship, a parish of Jesus House.

In August 2001 he returned to Jesus House as Youth Pastor responsible for the 16-21 year olds, and is currently the director for the youth ministries. His vision for this generation of young adults is to provide them with a second-to-none foundation for adult life.

Chizor Akisanya

Pastor Chizor was ordained as an Assistant Pastor in 2006. She has been involved in Jesus House since its inception and was part of the initial workforce in February 1994. She assisted her husband Bajo in establishing the Peace Haven Christian Fellowship in Brighton, where they remained until their return to Jesus House in 2001.

She presently oversees SHERR, the church’s ministry for couples awaiting the fruit of the womb; Blossom, the group for expectant parents; and Pages, the Jesus House bookshop.

Phil Noel

Pastor in charge: Prisons/Evangelism/Alpha/Follow-up

Pastor Phil, a passionate psalmist and evangelist, is the pastor in charge of our prison ministries, evangelism, follow-up and the Alpha Course at Jesus House.

His desire to save lost souls led him to coordinate Soul 100, an evangelistic outreach which is aimed at revival and bringing unbelievers to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Denrele Runsewe

             Pastor in charge:             Kidz First/Oasis Network

Pastor Denrele is in charge of Kidz First, the children’s ministry, and Oasis Network, the lone parent fellowship.

In 2003, after several years as Head of the children’s ministry, she was ordained a Deaconess, and in 2005 became an Assistant Pastor. She is presently the national director for the RCCG children’s ministry in the UK.

Pastor Denrele is consumed by a passion to see children grow up in the knowledge of the Lord.

David Ojeh

   Pastor in charge of pastoral care

A proficient drycleaner and business consultant, Pastor David Ojeh joined Jesus House in 1995. He departed in 2003 to help set up the Kingsborough Family Church, where he was ordained as a Deacon in November 2004, before returning to the Jesus House leadership in 2007.

Pastor David Ojeh was ordained as an Assistant Pastor in Nov 2009 and is now the Pastor in charge of pastoral care, which oversees the Welfare and Counselling departments in the church.

Bolanle Ojeh

Pastor in charge: Jesus House Academy

For several years, Pastor Bolanle has overseen the Teaching Ministry, which is responsible for the discipleship program in Jesus House: the New Believers, Foundation and Discipleship classes.

She was ordained a Deaconess in 1998 and an Assistant Pastor in 2005.

Mark Menda

Francophonie Church

Pastor Mark is in charge of our French church. Having served in Jesus House for several years as a Minister, he was ordained a Deacon in 2003 and an Assistant Pastor in 2005.

As Pastor of the French Service, he is responsible for meeting the spiritual needs of our French-speaking community.

Ibukun Ajayi

 Pastor in charge: Prophetic Ministry

As Head of the Prophetic Ministry Pastor Ibukun aims to train up a prophetic generation that will recognise the voice of God and will not be afraid to proclaim His Word.

He was ordained as a Deacon in 1998, as an Assistant Pastor in August 2003 and a full Pastor in 2010.

Ken Sakutu

Church Plants

Pastor Ken first joined Jesus House in 1994 and has assisted in the birthing of a new parish under Jesus House on two occasions, in 1996 and 2003.

With his wife, he has since returned to Jesus House in 2008 and is currently serving in the Church Plants sector of the church.
