What do you believe concerning drinking? Is it okay for God's children to drink, without getting drunk? Or is drinking in itself wrong?

Hi The Bible has a lot to say about so I will go through it afresh and see if we cant get a definitive answer. But one thing does jump out at me is this, the first mention of wine we see its full effect - please read through Genesis 9:20 - 26. I think this is a good starting point. Watch out for a continuation

Had an absolutely mega time with both groups, we had a TXTMSG service! Here are the questions some we answered in the group and others we didn't have the chance to. So here goes:

QUESTIONS FROM TM412

How can you keep yourself from committing fornication i.e. sex before marriage
What age can i start dating
How do we interpret the Bible? Are we meant to take everything literally even though times have changed since the Bible was written?
I am in a situation where i need to sin to be blessed, what do I do?
How old should we be before we have a boyfriend/ girlfriend
When we are older and thinking of marriage and we are dating; what are allowed to do
How do we answer someone who does not know God when we are asked to prove the existence of God

Hi thanks for getting into the site, i thought you might find it fun. The scriptures we looked at were Leviticus 26:1 - 12 , for giving to Haiti we looked at Ephesians 6:8 , for the offering we looked at 2 Corinthians 10:10 (pls read from v6 for context) and for the tithe Malachi 3:10 - 12. Please note this is only a part of our walk with the Lord and the foundation it all sits on is a life lived that is acceptable to God as Jesus puts it in John 14:21 - 26. Spk to you soon.
